Decking Stain and Treatment

Barrettine decking stain and treatment can be used on all pre-treated, pressure treated and preservative impregnated timber & decking. Application is quick and easy with a synthetic roller, paint brush or spray system.

Offering superb protection and a superior finish, our decking stain is also suitable for use on almost any exterior woodwork including garden furniture, fencing, sheds and summer-houses.

Decking stain is available as a clear treatment or as one of four popular timber colours to retain the natural colour of fences, sheds and decking.

Barrettine decking treatment is available in 2.5 ltr tins or as a bulk order of 10 litres (4 X 2.5 litre tins), the following gives an indication of the approximate decking stain coverage for each size.

• 2.5 litres = approximately 20 sq meters.
• 10 litres = approximately 80 sq meters.

Overall coverage may very depending on the application of the decking stain and the type of wood being treated.

Decking stain cannot be used on timber or decking that has been previously painted with conventional paints, lacquers and wood varnishes etc without first removing such barrier coatings. The final colour of the decking stain may vary due to the condition and surface colour of the wood or decking being treated, it's advisable that a small inconspicuous test area is treated before the main application to test results.
