Filler Knife

Filler knifes are a versatile tool that should be kept close to hand or in a nearby tool box. Although primarily for the use of inserting and shaping wood filler in furniture and flooring, these sturdy but flexible filler knives can be used for a whole host of additional tasks.

Available as a 40mm or 75mm blade width, both filler knives are made from high quality materials making them suitable for scraping & removing hardened PVA & polyurethane glues as well as filling wooden surfaces.

Small filling knife (40mm)

With a glossed wooden handle and a blade width of 40mm, our small filler knife is perfect for pushing ready mixed fillers into splits and holes that are smaller than a 10 pence piece. The shorter blade offers good control over the insertion and shaping of the filler while the sturdiness of the blade means that that any filler excess can be quickly and easily removed from the wooden surface. This filler blade is perfect for the use with any of our wax filler sticks or pre-mixed colour fillers.

Large filler knife (75mm)

With a blade measuring 75mm wide, this filler knife is more flexible than its smaller counterpart making it ideal for use on larger holes or splits in wooden floors or furniture and other jobs where there is a lot of filling to be done. Suitable for use with our ready mixed fillers or wood filler gel (when mixed with wood dust), it has a glossed wooden helve or handle and a slanted hardened steel blade which prevents rusting.
