Oil roller cleaning & storage

To prolong the life of a roller head that has been used to apply wood oils, enabling them to be used again and again, they should be cleaned and correctly stored after use.

Rollers that have been used with wax or oil should be thoroughly cleaned with white spirit before being thoroughly rinsed in water.

Used paint rollers should be covered with a plastic bag that is taped at the bottom to prevent air getting to them, this will prevent the roller from drying out fully.
