RELATED PRODUCTS

As a leading brand of paint brushes and other DIY products, Mako has a world wide reputation for quality and innovation within the wood finishing and decorating industry.

Available in 2 grades, namely a standard and high quality brush, you can be assured that whatever your choice, both of these Mako brushes are made to the highest quality and designed to offer the best possible performance.

Standard brush

The standard Mako brush is a cost effective brush that has a medium quality bristle composed of a mixture of synthetic and natural bristles.

High quality brush

Mako high end brushes are composed of thick layers of the finest quality bristles to help absorb a greater amount of material. Very competitively priced, these quality paint brushes are also made from a combination of high grade synthetic and natural bristles. The end of the brush is angled which allows more bristles to be evenly distributed over the surface being worked on.

The bristle length on both brushes has been optimized to help them retain their spring when used. Long bristles tend to bend over, losing their bounce which inevitably has an impact on the performance of the paint brush and the end result.

Both of the above Mako brushes are perfect for painting or for use with varnishes, wood oils and waxes whether solvent or water based.

Mako exterior brushes

Mako exterior paint brushes are made to the same high standard as the rest of the Mako brush range, the only main difference is that the exterior Mako brushes have extra bristles for faster application and a sturdier handle for greater durability when painting over harder uneven exterior surfaces.
