FREE SUPERSAVER DELIVERY
Our FREE SuperSaver delivery option is available for orders of £50.00 and over inclusive of the standard UK rate of VAT. The SuperSaver delivery option takes an estimated 2-5 days from the date of ordering. We cannot guarantee a delivery date but we will send you and email when your goods have been dispatched, along with tracking details if applicable. Surcharges may apply for remote/offshore locations. Only orders of £50.00 or over that are dispatched in their entirety will be eligible for free delivery, partial order dispatch on request of the customer will incur a delivery charge if the cost of the items to be dispatched are under £50.00 in value. Cancelling items, combining orders, or changing your delivery address, speed, or preference might affect your order's eligibility for Free Delivery.

Can I add items to an existing order to bring it over the £50.00 mark?
As long as your order hasn't been confirmed and processed at the check-out you can return to the store to edit or add items to those already in your basket before confirming and paying for your final order.

What if I have already placed and confirmed an order and wish to add more?
Further items can be added to an existing confirmed order by phoning Wood Finishes Direct and quoting the original order number.

What if my original order had a delivery charge but my amended order is now eligible for free delivery?
If the original order had a delivery charge but the new amended order exceeds the £50.00 threshold for free delivery, the delivery charge can be used as payment or part payment towards the cost of the additional goods. The outstanding balance of any amended order must be paid prior to dispatch.

What if I cancel part of my order?

  1. If you wish to cancel part of an order after it has been confirmed and paid, please phone Wood Finishes Direct.
  2. If the total value of the remaining order drops below £50.00 as a result of a partial order cancellation, we will apply the appropriate delivery charge based on the new total order weight. In some cases, if the original order is just over the £50.00 threshold for free delivery and the cancelled item is of a low value, the new balance due could increase over the original total order cost as a result of the partial cancellation.
  3. If the order has not yet been dispatched by Wood Finishes Direct, the order will be amended as per the customers instruction and any refund due will be processed within 7 days, and a maximum of 28 days. In the event of a partial order cancellation where the total cost of the order increases as a result of the inclusion of a delivery charge, the additional balance must be paid before goods are dispatched. If the goods in the original order have already been dispatched, a refund will be made for the unwanted items (less any delivery charge) on their return to Wood Finishes Direct as per our terms and conditions.

Does everything on the site qualify for free delivery?
All orders over £50.00 qualify for free delivery.

I'd like to have my order delivered to more than one address. Do I still get free delivery?
If the total for each part of the order that is going to a different address is for £50.00 or more then delivery to each separate address is free. If the total for any delivery address is below £50.00 a delivery charge based on order weight will apply to each delivery address.

Summary of Terms and Conditions for FREE SuperSaver Delivery

  • Applies only to orders with £50.00 or more of eligible products (inclusive of VAT at the UK rate).
  • There may be a surcharge for offshore and remote locations.
  • You will not receive free delivery on your order if any eligible products are cancelled, bringing the total order amount below £50.00.
  • Free delivery charges differ between trade and retail accounts.
  • We reserve the right to change or discontinue our free delivery policy at any time although this will net affect existing orders.

Royal Mail Deliveries
If your total order weight is under 2kg, you may opt to have your order delivered by Royal Mail 1st class. Royal Mail delivers from Monday to Saturday. There are no deliveries on Sundays or Bank/Public holidays. The delivery date we specify is estimated and cannot be guaranteed, however 1st class generally takes 1-2 days. If you need your order guaranteed by a specific date, please select our Courier option at checkout. Many people prefer Royal Mail deliveries because they tend to have local depots where goods can be collected if they were out when the delivery was attempted. Our Royal Mail rates are applicable to all of the UK. If your goods are destined for Southern Ireland however, a surcharge may be added.


Courier Deliveries
If your order weighs 2kg or over, or if you'd like your order to arrive by a specific date, you will need to use our Courier service. Our courier is DPD UK, and they deliver Monday-Friday unless a Saturday delivery is explicitly requested. There are no deliveries on Sunday or Bank/Public holidays. We offer a number of guaranteed Courier delivery options, the standard one being a 2-day service from the date you place your order. We also have a Next Day option that is available for orders placed before 4pm. We also offer a Saturday delivery service for orders placed before 4pm on a Friday. For remote/offshore locations, surcharges may apply. Our Courier has a 99% delivery success rate. Whilst we have carefully selected a reliable Courier that offers a full tracking system we cannot be held responsible for delays once the order has been dispatched from our warehouse. On occasions where delivery cannot be made, (i.e. you are not present at point of delivery), a card will be left detailing how you can make alternative arrangements for delivery with the courier. Our courier will attempt to deliver your order a maximum of 3 times without any extra costs being incurred. You can detail any delivery instructions in the "Special Instructions" box at checkout (i.e. "Leave goods in a porch.") This will enable the courier to leave the goods without the need for a signature. We cannot be held responsible for any delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to strike action or severe weather.


Payment
Goods will only be dispatched on receipt of the full payment due and will only be sent to the address confirmed on the original order confirmation. Any address change or variation must be made before dispatch by email from the same email account as the original order. Payment will only be deemed as received on receipt of cleared funds.

We will send you a confirmation email when your order is placed and another email when your order is despatched which will detail how your goods were sent and if applicable, tracking information.
