Warehouse Picker/Packers
We have an exciting seasonal opportunity from February to join our ever-growing Warehouse team here at Wood Finishes Direct. In addition to being the market leader in our industry with a fantastic culture and work environment, we are all dedicated to working together as one team. Our warehouses are based in Folkestone, Kent and we are the UK's leading online retailer of wood finishing products
Responsibilities:
- Picking.
- Packing.
- General warehouse duties.
- Keeping aisles and goods in areas & desks clean & tidy.
- Working directly with the section leads.
- Meet daily KPI's.
Full training will be provided for the above, but experience is essential.
Required Skills:
- Must have a minimal 1 year warehouse operative picker/packers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to carry out instructions to a high standard.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work within a team by providing friendly and helpful assistance to clients and co-workers.
- Knowledge of warehouse H&S.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Forklift license is an advantage.
- A strong work ethic with a self-managed attitude.
- Ability to deliver warehouse required KPI's.

Job Type: Temporary contract, Zero hours contract up to 40 hours a week
Salary: £11.44 per hour

Outbound Sales Consultant
Wood Finishes Direct are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated outbound Sales Consultant.
Full induction and product training will be provided enabling you to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Overall Objective:
As an experienced Outbound Sales Consultant, you will be selling a range of our products to potential industry Trade Accounts as well as creating leads for potential new account holders. You will be joining a well-established Inbound Sales Team who are passionate about great customer services. With experience in cold calling and upselling products, you will generate leads and sales opportunities to the support the continued growth of the company.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Make Outbound sales calls to potential customers generating new accounts and direct product sales.
- Understand customer needs and requirements using a range of techniques to qualify opportunities.
- Maintaining and updating database sources.
- Preparing detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and competitors.

A customer facing role with the diysoup retail store, dealing with Trades people as well as everyday customers, you will provide an outstanding level of Customer Service, keeping the shop well stocked and presentable.

- Strive to meet sales objectives.
- Assisting customers with their queries.
- Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organised shop so it is presentable and inviting to our customers.
- Restocking of the shop.
