V33 Renovation Radiator and Household Appliance paint is a highly robust and durable paint designed to tolerate high temperature areas. To accomplish the finest results, the surface to be painted needs to be structurally sound and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminations.

• Clear all old, defective or peeling paint either by sanding or with the use of a paint scraper
• Extra precautions should be taken during the surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain hazardous quantities of lead
• Eradicate all organic growth, such as lichen, mould, fungal or algal growths, with an antifungal compound
• Dirt, grease and dusty or powdery residues need to be cleaned away by washing the area with a suitable detergent and allowed to dry
• Flaws in the surface, such as small holes and cracks, need to be be plugged and sealed with an appropriate filler
• Lightly sand down with 240 grit sandpaper if the project area is a previously painted metal surface such as Aluminium, cast iron or stainless steel, to provide a key for the paint
• Wash the surface with a soda based or sugar soap (alkaline) cleaner to remove any residue of previous detergents and allow to dry

Always perform a test area ahead of the application to assess the appropriateness of the product and the final results. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

To accurately sustain the colour consistency, ensure enough supplies of V33 Renovation Radiator and Household Paint for each project including an adequate amount for touch-in at a future time.

Avoid applying when the air or surface temperatures are likely to fall below 12ºC or exceed 25ºC during either the application or the drying period and avoid or block any draughts

• Stir and blend the paint thoroughly with the aid of a wide stick or paint stirrer, taking care to work through the edges and the bottom of the tin, providing a consistent mixture throughout the paint
• Apply V33 Renovation Radiator and Household Appliance with a good quality 4-5mm pile roller and a round edged synthetic brush
• It is recommended to start with the joints, angles and mouldings of the surface and then progress onto the flatter areas with the roller
• Working with small areas is recommended, using successive cross strokes with utilising the "wet edge" technique to ensure a consistent opacity and high quality results
• The usual finishing process requires 2 full coats of V33 Renovation Radiator and Household Paint, however this can differ if applied over a dark surface

Wait at least 48 hours after applying the final coat before using the appliance

To clean your painted surfaces, it is recommended to use a cloth with a mild detergent

Optimum performance and adhesion of V33 Renovation Radiator and Household Appliance is achieved 20 days after the application. Treat the surface gently, avoiding direct impact, abrasion, staining or cleaning, for the first 20 days after application
