Repair Care Trial Pack

Repair Care Trial Pack is a starter kit for the Repair Care System. Contains everything needed for both emergency and permanent repairs on interior and exterior wood surfaces, such as windows, doors, stairs, furniture, fascias and soffits. Ideal for small to medium repairs with a thickness level of 5-50mm. Once set, repair filler has excellent mechanical features, naturally moving like wood. It can be sanded and finished to match the surrounding area the same day. Easy to use.

The Repair Care Trial Pack contains

• Repair Care DRY FLEX 4 - A two-part, flexible repair filler for damaged or rotten wood
• Repair Care DRY FIX UNI - A two-part, quick drying primer for the preparation of permanent repairs in small sized bottles
• Repair Care EASY·Q Wipes - x 6 specially formulated wipes for removing epoxy from tools and hands
• Repair Care EASY·Q Lightweight Dosing Gun - A lightweight, double barrelled application gun for applying two-part DRY FLEX
• Repair Care EASY·Q Mixing Plate - A small, easy grip mixing plate for mixing DRY FLEX filler
• Repair Care EASY·Q Mix and Fix Set - x 2 heat resistant cups and wooden spatulas for the safe and efficient mixing of DRY FIX
• Repair Care Easy·Q Plastic Application Knives - A pack of 4 plastic knives with unique right angled edges for mixing DRY FLEX filler
• Repair Care Easy·Q Disposable Brushes - x 3 disposable paint brushes for the application of DRY FIX primer
• Repair Care EASY·Q Disposable Nitrile Gloves - x 2 pairs of disposable gauntlet gloves offering added protection

Ensure that areas to be coated are clean, dry and free from surface dust and debris, removing any damaged and rotten wood from the area.

1. Following the product instructions carefully, prepare the area by using Repair Care DRY FIX UNI
2. Ensure DRY FLEX finish is applied with 24 hours, whilst pre-treatment it still tacky

Always do a small test area before starting any project to assess performance and end result. Follow the manufacturers instructions on the container at all times.

Optimum application is achieved between 0°C and 35°C with good air movement and ventilation.

1. Insert both parts of Repair Care DRY FLEX 4 into the Repair Care EASY.Q Lightweight Dosing Gun
2. Dispense both tubes onto a Repair Care EASY.Q Mixing Plate and mix using a Easy·Q Plastic Application Knife, until it reaches a transparent orange colour
3. Spread the mixture thinly across the mixing plate, as this will extend the application period
4. Apply the coating to the prepared area, using the plastic knife
5. Immediately remove any excess product
6. Allow 4 hours to fully cure

Please Note: Always wear suitable Protective clothing, goggles and Repair Care SMARTLine Disposable Nitrile Gloves.

Once cured, the area can be sanded, planed, sawn, screwed, nailed and finished with the chosen paint or stain to match the surrounding area.
