Fiddes Door Oil is a quick drying, protective oil for interior solid wooden doors and surrounding joinery. Made from a blend of natural oils and resins for a tough and durable finish that is also easy to maintain and repair.
Please note: Always check the manufacturers label on the door or with the door manufacturer before applying a door finish to confirm suitability. Some products may not be suitable for some types of door.
Ensure that interior doors are clean, dry, and free from any previous finishes prior to application.
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
Ensure all areas to be coated are well ventilated during and after application. Apply at room temperature. Fiddes Oil can be used directly from the tin and does not require thinning. Stir contents thoroughly before and during use.
Please Note: Certain dense / exotic hardwoods may only require a single thin application.
For regular light maintenance, clean with a damp, lint-free cloth and wipe dry. For stubborn marks and scuffs, use Fiddes Wood Surface Cleaner Spray.
Re-application may be necessary where soiling or staining is apparent. Simply apply a fresh coat of Fiddes Door Oil following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
