Dulux Trade Diamond Matt Light and Space 5L

Dulux Trade Diamond Matt Light and Space is a highly durable matt paint that provides protection against scratches and stains on interior walls and ceilings, making it ideal for high traffic and busy areas around the home. The stain repellent technology provides an excellent resistance to grease and moisture making it suitable for use in bathrooms and kitchens. With its light reflecting technology, it reflects twice as much light, making small rooms look and feel more spacious.

Please Note: This product is not suitable for immersed surfaces or where there is very heavy and prolonged condensation.

For best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants.

1. Remove all loose and defective paint with a paint scraper by sanding or with a paint stripper
2. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead
3. Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt, grease and powdery or dusty residues
4. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry
5. Any surface defects should be filled with an appropriate filler
6. If required, rub down surfaces and then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove dust
7. Seal all surfaces that remain powdery after thorough preparation with an appropriate plaster sealer, or use Dulux Trade Stain Block Primer, which will also seal in any stains

Please Note: An initial coat of Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell should be applied when overcoating surfaces that have previously been painted with a solvent-based paint.

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient paint for each project including enough for touch-in at a later time.

Do not use below 8°C or in areas of high humidity or condensation.

1. Stir the paint thoroughly before and periodically during use
2. Apply Dulux Trade paint with a good quality synthetic brush, microfibre roller, conventional spray or airless spray system
3. Seal new or bare surfaces with a thinned first coat of Diamond Matt Light and Space (up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint)
4. The normal finishing process is 2 full coats of Diamond Matt Light and Space
5. For significant colour change, further coats may be required
6. Allow 6 hours to fully dry

Thinning Guidelines

• Sealing new or bare surfaces: Add up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint
• Normal use: Thinning is not usually needed
• Conventional spray application: Add up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint
• Airless spray application: Thinning is not usually needed

To maintain the finish, simply apply a fresh coat of Dulux Trade Diamond Matt Light and Space as required, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
