Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell Light and Space 5L

Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell Light and Space is a highly durable eggshell paint that provides protection against scratches and stains on both interior walls and ceilings, making it ideal for high traffic and busy areas around the home. The stain repellent technology provides an excellent resistance to grease and moisture making it suitable for use on bathroom and kitchen walls and ceilings. With its light reflecting technology, it reflects twice as much light, making small rooms look and feel more spacious.

Please Note: This product is not suitable for immersed surfaces or where there is very heavy and prolonged condensation.

Ensure that surfaces to be painted are clean, dry and free from traces of dust, dirt or any other surface contaminants.

New or Bare Surfaces

1. New or bare surfaces should be sanded to remove any surface imperfections
2. Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner before painting
3. The surface should be sealed, using an appropriate sealer

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

Do not use below 8°C or in areas of high humidity or condensation.

Stir the contents of the tin thoroughly prior to application to ensure a consistent finish.

1. Apply with a good quality synthetic paint brush, microfibre roller or spray applicator
2. For best results if using a brush, lightly dampen both the brush and the surface prior to applying the first coat to increase flow
3. Seal new or bare surfaces with a first coat of thinned light and space eggshell, adding up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint
4. Apply 2 full coats on previously coated or suitably primed surfaces
5. Allow 4 - 6 hours drying time between coats
6. For significant colour change, further coats may be required

Thinning Guidelines

• Sealing new or bare surfaces: Add up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint
• Normal use: Thinning is not usually needed
• Conventional spray application: Add up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint
• Airless spray application: Thinning is not usually needed

To maintain the finish, simply apply a fresh coat of Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell Light and Space as required, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
