Overview

Overview

Back

Crown One Coat Satin is a highly versatile, solvent-based satin paint that provides a hardwearing, mid shine finish for interior and exterior wood, metal and PVCu without the need for an undercoat.

Preparation

Preparation

Back

Ensure that all surfaces to be painted are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and any other surface contaminants.

  1. If necessary, move or cover furniture or areas that are not to be painted
  2. Previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly sanded to provide a sound key for painting
  3. Remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner or slightly damp, lint-free cloth
  4. If painting a bare surface you will need to prepare it using a suitable Crown Primer
  5. Keep rooms well ventilated to reduce paint odour and improve drying times

Application

Application

Back

Always do a small test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions at all times.

Do not apply Crown One Coat Satin paint in damp or humid conditions or in rooms with a temperature less than 10°C.

Stir the paint thoroughly before and periodically during use to ensure a consistent finish.

  1. Apply One Coat Satin with a good quality brush
  2. Load paint generously and apply evenly, making sure you don't overspread
  3. In warm conditions, paint can dry very rapidly, so over-brushing should be avoided to prevent brush marks appearing in the finish
  4. Allow 6 hours to fully dry
