Ensure that all surfaces to be painted are clean, dry and free from dirt, dust and any other surface contaminants.
- If necessary, move or cover furniture and any other areas not to be painted
- Previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly abraded to provide a sound key before painting
- Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum or slightly damp, lint-free cloth
- If painting new wood or metal, prime the surface first with Crown Multi Surface Primer and Undercoat and allow to dry
- Keep rooms well ventilated to assist with drying times

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
Do not apply this product in damp or humid conditions or in rooms with a temperature less than 10°C. Stir thoroughly before use.
- Apply Quick Dry Satin paint using a good quality synthetic brush
- Load the brush generously and apply evenly, making sure not to overspread
- In warm conditions, paint can dry very rapidly, so over-brushing should be avoided to prevent brush marks appearing in the finish
- Paint is touch dry in around 1 hour and can be re-coated in 6 hours

Regular Cleaning
As Crown paints are wipeable, painted surfaces can be cleaned, once dry, with a slightly dampened, lint-free cloth.
Maintenance
To maintain the finish if it becomes tired looking, simply apply a fresh coat of Crown Quick Dry Satin, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.

Good quality satinwood paint
Easy to apply and gives a lovely sheen to skirting boards etc. Would recommend.
