How we are navigating COVID-19
As a business selling all things wood finishes, we have been fortunate that so far, we have not been impacted by the crisis. We continue to operate at full capacity, with all members of the Wood Finishes Direct family working full hours, on full pay. Our customers are still receiving their packages just as before.
But that's not to say we haven't been making changes to how we operate. We're taking precautions to avoid all unnecessary travel, and ensuring that we keep our team members, customers and the wider community safe in uncertain times.
How we have remained COVID-19 Secure
- We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and have shared the results with our team members.
- We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in place which are in line with government guidance.
- We have taken all reasonable steps to help our team members work from home.
- We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace.
- Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk.
We are still taking orders online and over the phone, our Folkestone store is open for both for click and collect and walk in customers. We are doing everything we can to deliver the same great service that has become expected of us, The UK's favorite wood finishes supplier.
