It was just a couple of months that we introduced \n<a title=\"Blanchon Wood Finishing Products\" href=\"\/brand\/blanchon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">\nBlanchon<\/a> to our portfolio of wood finishing suppliers and this month it&#8217;s the turn of \n<a title=\"Liberon Wood Finishing Products\" href=\"\/brand\/liberon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">\nLiberon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Looking after interior and exterior wood since 1912, Liberon was formed when Georges Lib\u00e9ron took over a factory who&#8217;s clientele was mainly composed of professional gilders and cabinet makers.<\/p>\n<p>Georges Lib\u00e9ron chose to diversify in the maintenance of furniture by launching a new range called the &#8216;blue line&#8217;. These water-repellent polish products were awarded at the universal exhibition of Paris in 1900 and patented in 1902. These products were designed to meet the strict antiseptic and parasitical requirements recommended by the hygienists of the time whilst giving a fine finish. Available in paste or in liquid wax, the polishes of the &#8216;blue line&#8217; were used in the maintenance of floors and furniture.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6086\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Liberon-Blog-.jpg\" alt=\"liberon-products-at-wood-finishes-direct\" width=\"580\" height=\"379\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wood-finishes-direct.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Liberon-Blog-.jpg 580w, https:\/\/www.wood-finishes-direct.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Liberon-Blog--300x196.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today, Liberon has grown to be a multinational supplier of wood care and wood finishing products.
