COLRON Wood Dye

penetrating and non grain raising solvent stain

Colron Wood Dye is a solvent based dye, (also known as stain) that is easily applied with a lint free cloth. Cotton (T-shirt material) is ideal for applying this product. It will penetrate well into the wood, ensuring a good depth of colour that is rich.

Ideally suited for over coating with a varnish (we suggest using Extra Tough Clear Varnish) , this well known liquid dye comes in a broad range of shades that are all intermixable.

With a 6 hour drying time this product is suitable for use on all internal wooden surfaces.

Application

Ensure the internal wooden surfaces to be stained are free from dirt or grease. This can be done by wiping the surfaces with white spirit. This product works best on smooth wood and is easy to apply with cloth in the direction of the wood grain.
