This Ronseal Natural Decking Oil is a durable scuff resistant oil that offers a natural, clear finish and forms a waterproof barrier to protect against weathering, warping, swelling, drying and splitting. At present we do not offer the coloured versions of this product.

It resists mould and algae growth and its fade resistant finish protects against UV rays. For use on hardwood and softwood decking.

Description

Most Decking already comes pre-treated with a wood preserver. A coat of Barrettine Wood Preserver should be applied before using the Ronseal oil if your wood is not pre-treated.

Splitting and swelling can occur due to the effects of moisture and the sun. This decking oil will prevent fading and also helps to avoid splitting and cupping

Many treatments leave a lot of surface coating which can be easily scuffed and removed. Ronseal decking oil bonds with the surface wood grain and therefore does not peel or flake

Ideal for protecting all hardwood and softwood timber decking. 2 coats are recommended. The drying time will vary depending on climatic conditions and wood but generally the deck will be dry and ready to walk on 24 hours after the final coat has been applied.
