No slip ups with Anti Slip Floor Varnish

Anti slip floor varnish provides a safer alternative to standard floor varnishes. This product is ideal for use on wooden staircases and wooden floors in areas that may come into contact with moisture such as kitchens and hallways.

Although the formulation looks and feels like a standard floor varnish, Anti-slip varnish contains tiny 'beads' that provide a degree of resistance when coming into contact with shoes, socks and other materials.

This product can be used on top of water based varnishes such as our own extra tough clear varnish or on its own

Our Anti-slip floor varnish complies to HSE (Health and Safety Executive) anti slip requirements for wet conditions making it ideal for commercial use on factory and shop flooring

Anti slip varnish is only available in a satin finish

Anti slip floor varnish is a 2 pack product that needs to be mixed with the supplied hardener prior to application. Once mixed with the hardening agent, this product must be used within 3 hours.

Coverage should be around 12 square meters per litre, this may vary depending on the surface to be coated and the thickness of the application.

This product can be applied over some other water based varnishes but a test area is a must.

For the best results apply 3 coats directly on untreated wooden surfaces.

Product drying time is usually around 2 hours, curing time is around 12 hours although the varnish will continue to harden for up to 72 hours.

Anti slip varnish that has not been mixed with the supplied hardener will keep for up to a year if the container sealed correctly.

Drying times between coats is between 2 hours.
