Shellac Sanding Sealer

Ever found an annoying wood knot that can't be covered or a scratch in a piece of furniture or woodcraft that needs filling? With shellac sanding sealer, it's easy to fill and cover these imperfections before painting, applying wax polish or French polish.

Made from shellac flakes, our shellac sealer is ready to use straight from the tin. (Just stir or shake before use) Containing no dyes or pigments, shellac sealer produces its own natural colour which is a slightly warm brown tinge.

Drying in around 20 - 30 minutes, the shellac sanding sealer is easily sanded with fine sandpaper or fine wire wool to give a smooth finish on open grain timbers and most other wooden surfaces. Shellac wood sealer can also be used as a general sealer that can be applied and sanded to give a smooth finish on wooden furniture prior to waxing, French polishing or painting.
