Microporous protection against wood rot, fungi and more

Barrettine clear wood preservative is a wood treatment that provides protection against dry rot, fungi, decay and mould.

With a formula that is ready to use straight from the tin, our clear and coloured wood preservative provides an effective solution for the treatment and prevention of common wood care problems such as dry rot and decay.

Suitable for use on all timbers, Barrettine wood preservatives can be used on external wooden surfaces such as fences, sheds and exterior decking.

The Universal wood preservative is clear and offers greater protection, including protection against insect attack.

This wood preservative is solvent based and should only be used in well ventilated areas. Care should be taken with the cleaning and disposal of any brushes, cloths, tins or other materials that have come into contact with this wood treatment.

There is a black timber stain available from the dropdown menu which is suitable for all exterior wood, including boats, fences and much more. It does not contain biocide.

The shed and fence spray system is not ideally suited for use with this product because parts of the spray system can perish. However in our experience it will spray this product ok for about a day (or more), so provided your project can be completed in a day this is still a good, cost effective option.
