Osmo WR Base Coat

Osmo WR Base Coat is a clear wood impregnation treatment for use on exterior wood. This product is a preventive preservative against common problems such as mildew, rot, blue stain & vegetable pests. It can greatly extend the life of softwoods and pines such as spruce, fir and hemlock.

Easily applied, Osmo WR base coat penetrates deeply into the wood to repel water and reduce the risk of swelling & shrinking. Osmo WR base coat has a very low odour when applying to wooden surfaces and is completely odourless when dry. We recommend applying 160-200 ml of product per square metre of timber surface.

WR Basecoat is not a finish in its own right, it needs to be over coated with another Osmo product such as UV protection oil ref 420, the Country Colour or the Wood Stain and Protector.
