Light Fast Water Stain

Suitable for exterior and interior use!

This easy to use wood stain comes in good range of colours and is light fast meaning that it reduces the effect of the suns UV rays and therefore holds its colour very well.

When used internally this stain can be finished with a wax polish, a varnish or an oil. When used exteranlly this product can be finished with Exterior Wood Oil or UV Protection Oil. It cannot be used on its own as an external wood treatment.

It can be used on most timbers and all of the colours are inter-mixable. Being water based it offers a good working time and has a low odour making it pleasant to work with. The colour can be kept as it is by finishing it with a Clear Wax Polish or the colour can be further deepened by applying a 2nd coat of the stain or by applying a Coloured Wax Polish. A clear oil or clear varnish can also be used as a top coat which will normally change the colour of the light fast stain a little.

This product can be diluted with water if necessary and brushes etc can be cleaned in water. A medium coat will dry in about an hour at room temperature.

Dark Oak, Light Oak, Mahogany, Medium Oak, Red Mahogany, Teak, Walnut

This product is easy to apply with lint free cloth, sponge, paint brush or spray gun in the direction of the wood grain. Any excess can be removed with a clean cloth. Further coats can be applied to darken the colour if necessary.
