Overview

Ronseal Quick Drying Radiator Paint is suitable for use on all household radiators, including primed, factory finished and previously painted radiators.

Preparation

Ensure that radiators are turned off and cold prior to painting with Ronseal Quick Drying Radiator Paint. Surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and other surface contaminants.

Put down dust sheets to protect any areas not to be painted
Mask off the surrounding areas to avoid over-spraying
Give the area to be painted a quick sanding and remove any dust prior to painting
Open up doors and windows to allow for good ventilation during painting and drying

Application

Always do a small test area to assess colour and compatibility of the finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the can at all times.

Shake the spray can well until you can hear a rattle, then continue shaking for 1 minute
Hold can 20 - 30cm away from the surface and spray in a sweeping motion
Apply 2 - 3 coats, allowing 30 minutes between each coat
Leave to dry for 24 hours before you turn the radiators back on

Cleaning Equipment

Turn can upside down and spray for a few seconds. Then wipe the nozzle with a dampened, lint-free cloth.

F.A.Q.

Can I use Ronseal Quick Dry Radiator Paint on my bath?

We wouldn't recommended this for the interior of the bath when it will be left submerged in water for a prolonged amount of time. On the areas on the outside, that won't be in constant contact with water, this should be fine.
