Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Paint

For a water based paint it's very good. It covers really well. Durable surface as well. Best water based & low odour product I have found.

I’ve used the white version of this many times. The finish after 3 coats was fabulous, satiny and luxurious! Really pleased, it’s very hard wearing too! Goes on an inky blue so you can see exactly where you’ve been and dries jet black!

This is proper floor paint. I can vacuum it without and walk on it with no chipping.

Paint was exactly what I wanted, easy to use and it's lasting well.

I painted a bedroom floor with this a few years back and it still looks great. Unfortunately the two rooms I painted with the new formulation look shabbier after only a few months. It's a shame as it was a fab product.

Good product. Took 3 coats to cover darker wood floor but good end result. Still happy with finish after 2 years.

Bought this product in 2020. As a builder I have used a number of Ronseal products. I painted a 40 sqm floorr ( 25mm OSB t&g panels with water underfloor heating) with 3 coats of Ronseal floor paint. The result is a brilliant durable surface. Photos are available. The paint has not been affected at all by the hot water underfloor heating.

Didn't like the colour one bit. I wanted cream but this was more like peach and so I wouldn't buy it again.

Needs really thorough mixing but good product

Use it for my wood floors to add a bit of colour, goes on smoothly and dries quickly. Colours are as shown, hard wearing 😊👍

This is certainly a robust product...but the cream colour I ordered turned out to be more salmon than cream...and it made my skin rough like coarse sandpaper. For a less delicate individual i am sure it would be fine.

You need to put a few coats down but this is good paint and it builds up to a very nice and durable finish with a soft sheen.

Was a little disappointed. I followed instructions and although the paint seemed to dry extremely hard and was durable at first, I have noticed after around 4 months it has started to chip in places. I would recommend this but I would say be prepared for chips and touch ups after a while.

The coverage and finish expected of a Ronseal product. Excellent.

Recommend by a friend, due to necessity had little time to prep old floor that had been carpeted for at least 60 years. Great Finnish and easy to apply, better coverage than expected too. Wood Finishes Direct were fast and efficient. Needed extra for other room because of the quality of Finnish to the initial project and Wood Finishes direct came up trumps for us. Fast service every time.

Although the floor looked great after three coats, it has lifted in areas of heavy traffic, despite following the instructions to the letter. Also, I would have liked to have bought another tin of this from Wood Finishes Direct, however they now have a fairly high minimum order so this was not possible.

Excellent - went on beautifully, dried well, pretty much no smell and brushes were very easy to clean, as was anything I got it on by mistake. Seems to be wearing well on floor. Had to paint a piece at a time and protect while drying because of cats in the house, so was constantly closing tin and returning to it later - no problems with that as long as I stirred it. It was very easy, great to work with and has given a good durable finish. Will use this product again.
