Cuprinol Ultimate Garden Wood Preserver is just one of the range of wood preservers available from Cuprinol. Other wood preservers in this range include:
Cuprinol Wood Preserver Clear is a clear water based wood preservative that is suitable for both interior and exterior use. Where required, solvent-based or water-based wood finishes such as paints, varnishes and wood stains can be applied.
Cuprinol Exterior Wood Preserver is a solvent-based exterior, coloured wood preserver for rough sawn and smooth garden timbers, such as cladding, fencing, sheds, greenhouses and summerhouses.
Ensure that surfaces to be treated with Cuprinol Wood Preserver are clean, dry and free from surface dirt and debris.
Always do a test area before starting any project to test appearance and suitability of the product on the timber to be treated. Follow the manufacturers instructions on the container at all times. Stir contents of tin thoroughly before and during application to ensure a consistent finish.
To maintain the surface finish and its protective properties, simply apply a fresh coat of Ultimate Garden Wood Preserver following the Preparation and Application instructions.
Probably the best wood preserver for sheds I have used.
Used product for the first time on my garden shed. Covered extremely well, second coat went on in no time.
Could do with being a little thicker. Needed a lot of stirring to maintain colour consistency. Good finish after 3 coats.
Really easy to use. A bit runnier than the previous product I used from the same manufacturer. The colour is the same as before. I hope it lasts as long as the previous wood preserver.
The product itself is excellent but it was hard to acquire just a 1 litre tin, fortunately having scoured the Internet I discovered Wood Finishes. Wld order from them again.
Bought this to paint a 24x10 stable and it looks great! I bought two pots and have used just over on pot, no need to do a second coat! Really pleased!
We have a long high fence around our property so we needed a product that would last. We found that this product fulfilled what we wanted. We sprayed it on and we got great results and this was on smooth timber. Highly recommended well worth the money.
Easy to use if a little watery Covers previous coatings well providing sanding and prep carried out properly
Prompt delivery. Really well packed. The cheapest price I could find. I have used a different shade of this on a brand new summerhouse and it went on easily. Given 2 initial coats, I mistakenly tried to give it a coat 15 months later and could see it wasn't taking as it was still fully waterproof and is still like that now, 4,years on. Works out far cheaper and less labour involved to achieve a better finish
This is a well known and reliable product ... as it says one the tin. Delivery was very quick ... thank you.
Great coverage per litre and pleasant golden cedar colour
Have used other products and non as long lasting as this one, thoroughly recommended Order experience excellent, delivery on time
Totally surprised, just how good this product is. The Spruce green, very easy to apply, covers well. With only a couple of coats needed on new pine wood gate, to give an attractive deep green waterproof finish. The Litre sized can, was more than enough, to finish the job. Will use again, without a doubt.
Cuprinol a name you can trust , I am a retired builder and have used Cuprinol for as long as I can remember .
We were glad to be able to find the product on the internet. Delivery was very quick and we got exactly what we wanted. Thank you
Quite unlike the Ducksback type product, it's runny and messy to use and the colour comimg out of the tin is nothing like what it'll be when it's dry which, in turn, is nothing like it'll be after a few days maturing, all of which is a bit unnerving but it does, after a few days, settle down to pretty much the colour advertised in the colour chart, depending on the wood you're covering. It needs at least two coats but it's coverage is good and seems to use less than advertised in the technical data, at least on finished planed timber. It's a Cuprinol product do you expect quality; time will tell as to how it performs but so far we're quite happy with it. Oh, and it's water based do brushes and spills are a dawdle to clean.
Very good coverage. Have used it before and it holds its colour well.
I used this on sawn timber. Did a very good job. 2 coats really brought wood to life.
