Cuprinol One Coat Sprayable Fence Treatment is formulated to quickly and easily colour and protect sheds, fences and other rough sawn garden wood in just one coat. It can be hand applied by brush or used with the Cuprinol Spray and Brush / Cuprinol Fence Sprayer.

Ensure that all wooden surfaces to be treated with Cuprinol One Coat are clean, dry and free from surface dirt, debris and other surface contaminates.

  • Traces of mould, algae or fungi must be removed with a stiff brush or broom then treated with a fungicidal wash or mould and mildew cleaner
  • Existing surface coating such as paint and varnish must be removed fully before application either by sanding or stripping back to bare wood
  • Previously oiled wood should be tested as it may repel the Cuprinol fence spray paint if oiled in recent years

Always do a test area before starting any project to test the appearance and suitability of Cuprinol Once Coat Fence Paint on the timber to be treated. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

Final colour will depend upon wood type, previous treatment and the number of coats applied. Cuprinol One Coat Sprayable Fence Treatment should only be used on rough sawn timber. If using more than one pack it is advisable to mix them together in a larger container or finish painting in a corner before starting a new container.

  1. Shake the Cuprinol sprayable fence treatment thoroughly before use
  2. Apply using either the Cuprinol Woodcare Brush or Cuprinol Spray and Brush system
  3. Cover and protect all surfaces not to be treated with Cuprinol One Coat
  4. Spray with the nozzle 15-30cm (6"-12") from the wood surface
  5. Spray at a consistent rate to maintain colour depth
  6. Where a strong colour change is involved, more coats may be required

Cuprinol One Coat Sprayable Fence Treatment can be easily maintained as and when required by following the Preparation and Application instructions above.

A good dark colour. It doesn't have preservative in it though.

Goes on well, as long as there's no wind! by Doogie Brodie

Good coverage and good colour, but had to wait for a still day!

Fence looks great when finished Colour excellent by Philip Davis

Only problem with this product is application. Fence looks great but will use brush next time. Sprayer uses far too much paint but this is not the products fault. WFD supply of paint was first rate. Was slightly short and purchased exactly the same from B and Q as I was in a hurry. It was lumpy and clogged the sprayer and was pretty awful. Next time I will wait and purchase from WFD!

Quite happy with product by Janet Deprose

When the product was first applied, the colour was orange and not at all as expected or how it looked in the picture on the tin But as it dried, it became darker and has now mellowed down even more and looks nice. Also, it is fine to use in our sprayer and doesn,t clog.
