Crown Liquid Gloss Paint

Crown Liquid Gloss Paint is a traditional solvent-based liquid gloss paint for use on interior and exterior wood including doors, windows, frames and other joinery. Also suitable for radiators, pipes and more.

Ensure that surfaces to be painted are clean, dry and free from all dirt, dust and any other surface contaminants.

1. If necessary, move or cover any furniture or areas you don't want to get paint on
2. Surfaces that have been previously painted must be sanded (abraded) to provide a sound key for the primer / paint
3. Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner or slightly damp, lint-free cloth before painting
4. When painting new wood or metal, this product should be used in conjunction with Crown Quick Dry Primer Undercoat
5. Keep rooms well ventilated to reduce odour and drying time

Always do a test area before starting any project and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

Do not apply in damp or humid conditions or in rooms with a temperature less than 10°.

Stir Crown paint thoroughly before and periodically during use to ensure an even and consistent finish.

1. Apply Crown Liquid Gloss paint with a good quality synthetic paint brush
2. Load brushes generously and apply evenly, in the direction of the wood grain, taking care not to overspread
3. In warm conditions, paint can dry very rapidly, so over-brushing should be avoided to prevent brush marks appearing in the finish
4. If applying a second coat, leave 16 hours between coats

Regular Cleaning

For regular cleaning, gently wipe painted surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth. For light scuffs and marks, slightly dampen the cloth first.

Maintenance

To maintain the finish if it becomes worn over time, simply apply a fresh coat of Crown Liquid Gloss, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
