Colron Steel Wool can be used for a wide variety of projects and is available in the following grades:

Grade 00000

Use to cut back between coats of French Polishes, varnishes, paints and oil finishes
Clean and polish wooden surfaces, as well as metals such as bronze, copper, chrome, stainless steel and aluminium
Use with soapy water to clean and polish porcelain, marble and glass without marking
Light cleaning and surface preparation

Grade 000

Cleaning and restoring wood prior to refinishing

Grade 00

Use with a suitable wax and polish remover to remove built-up wax polish, smoke damage and dirt on wood

Preparation

To avoid cuts never tear steel wool. Cut to size with scissors or shears and always protect your hands with gloves when handling.

Application

Always test the product on a spare surface or inconspicuous area to assess product suitability and results before starting the main project.

Superb Steel Wool

Use it for French polishing and furniture that is delicate and requires that, gentle touch. Also, great for cleaning windscreens. Doesn't scratch and will thoroughly clean the glass so visibility is better
